Who We Are
Lucid Commerce was founded by Galen King, a pioneer in the ecommerce space who has been building on Shopify since the very beginning. Galen’s journey started over two decades ago, as he built one of the first Shopify studios in the world. He experienced firsthand the challenges that traditional agency models bring to bootstrapping founders—layers of hierarchy, endless meetings, and the slow pace that comes with too much complexity.
Having grown weary of the typical agency approach, Galen set out to create something different: an agency for brands that don’t want to work with an agency. Instead of bureaucracy, we offer partnership. Instead of complexity, we deliver simplicity. We are lean, nimble, and agile—focused on helping ambitious founders grow quickly and effectively, without the overhead and friction that can hold them back.
