Shopify now offers three new granular staff permissions for the Online Store and Settings. The 'Themes' permission previously granted full edit access, including theme and code editing. Now, with the new 'Edit code' permission, merchants can control who accesses the code editor, though the CLI tool remains under 'Themes' permission. Additionally, separate permissions for 'Taxes and duties' and 'Policies' in Settings are now available, no longer requiring the blanket 'Manage settings' permission.
