Tap to Pay on iPhone Now Available on Shopify POS

Merchants in the US using Shopify POS and Shopify Payments can now enable Apple Tap to Pay on iPhone in their hardware settings. This feature allows acceptance of credit, debit, or mobile device payments without additional hardware. To enable it, navigate to Settings > Set up hardware and select Tap to Pay on iPhone. The account owner must enable it for the store, after which staff can pair their devices when signed into Shopify POS on an iPhone XS or higher with iOS 15.5 or above.
