Shopify Updates POS With Enhanced Discount Features

This update brings four key improvements to Shopify’s POS system, enhancing how discounts are accessed, applied, and viewed during checkout. A new Discounts section in More actions allows staff to find and apply active discount codes more efficiently. The Apply discount code feature now highlights Recently used active codes for quicker access. The Title field for custom discounts is renamed Reason for discount, encouraging staff to provide clearer discount reasons. Finally, a new discount icon and improved detail descriptions in the customer’s cart provide better visual confirmation and information on applied discounts.
