Shopify Updates Inventory Scanner in the App

The Shopify App now features an updated inventory scanner, enhancing the workflow for inventory adjustments. Users can effortlessly switch locations, scan multiple items without interference, and make additional quantity edits such as adjusting Available, On Hand, and Committed counts. The update introduces a single review screen for all inventory adjustments and provides clear visibility of final counts alongside original and adjusted counts. The scanner’s underlying library has been updated to match Shopify POS, improving accuracy and barcode support, although some barcode formats remain incompatible with specific devices.
