On December 1st, 2024, Shopify’s Geolocation app will be sunset and uninstalled from all shops. Shopify's advancements in automatic and browser language redirection, along with the consolidation of the GeoIP feature, have decreased the need for the Geolocation app's consent-based localization. If you’re using the Geolocation app and don’t have an EU top-level domain, enable these features in Settings -> Markets -> Preferences to bypass Geolocation. For EU-specific domains, consider third-party options for consent-based redirection.
