Shopify POS Introduces Inventory States for Better Stock Management

Shopify POS now displays not only Available inventory but also Incoming and Committed inventory for store locations, offering quick insights similar to Shopify Admin. Inventory states help reduce overselling and inform selling decisions by illustrating whether inventory is available, incoming, or committed to orders. New indicators show staff if products are sold out but might be in another location. Incoming inventory includes items in transit, while Committed inventory includes items sold or paid for but not yet fulfilled.
