Shopify now offers a Language Redirection setting within Markets, allowing merchants to automatically redirect visitors to translated storefronts based on their browser language. The feature detects the visitor’s browser language and switches the storefront to that language if available. To enable this, the language must be added to the store, assigned to relevant markets, translated, and published. For instance, a visitor to johns-apparel.ca with a browser set to French will be redirected to johns-apparel.ca/fr.
