Shopify Flow introduces a new 'Run code' action allowing users to write JavaScript code to manipulate and return data within workflows based on specified inputs. This action is versatile, enabling tasks such as counting items in a list, computing complex metafield values, and transforming data for use in conditions. Inputs for the code are provided as GraphQL queries and available as JSON objects, while outputs are defined as GraphQL types. Users can create workflows from scratch or use templates and access example code on GitHub.
