Shopify Discontinues Swipe (30 Pin) Card Reader

Shopify has discontinued the Swipe (30 Pin) Card Reader, previously designed for iPhone 4/4S and iPad 2/3. Changes in device and iOS support for Shopify POS have led to the reader no longer meeting performance standards. Users can continue using the reader, but upgrading to a device that supports iOS 10 or above and a compatible card reader from the Shopify Hardware Store is recommended.
