Shopify has rolled out three new features for Inbox to streamline managing conversations. Users can now navigate and apply filters more easily using the menu icon or edge swipes. Conversations can be closed, reopened, or assigned to staff with swipe or tap-and-hold shortcuts. To keep the Inbox organized, conversations can be tagged as open or closed, and will automatically reopen if a customer sends a follow-up message. Additionally, users can view the status of conversations, including assignment and customer online status. Enhanced support for setting up notifications is also included, with improved guidance on device settings and a feature to test push notifications.
