To improve the checkout experience, Shopify introduces a new customizable email notification for customers when a payment fails due to external errors. Starting May 31st, customers will receive an email if their payment fails due to a bank or payment provider issue, confirming they weren’t charged. This email includes links back to their cart and your store, helping to recapture lost traffic. The template is available now, giving you two weeks to customize these notifications before they become active.
