Metafields Now Available on Orders, Collections & Customers

You can now add metafield definitions to orders, collections, and customers directly from your Shopify admin—a feature previously limited to products and variants. Metafields allow you to attach unique pieces of information to all parts of your store for efficient storage and display. For example, you can add your customers' birthdates or loyalty status in customers, or order delivery date or packaging status in orders.
